What is the schedule for the tournament?

Timings for the day

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Open courts

Available for social play (excluding those used for pro clinics).

If you have registered to play in the tournament you can also register for a pro clinic space in the morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.

3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Stage One Group Phase and stage two:

Tournament begins with round robin matches across 24 teams split into 4 groups

This will be followed by knockout games for the winners and runner-ups of stage one (across 4 courts).

6:00 pm – 6:40 pm

FINAL STAGES

6:00 PM | Semi-finals

6:20 PM | Final

6:40 pm – 7:00 pm

Awards and toasts

Announcement of winners and prize givings.

We have some very exciting prizes that will be announced shortly. Keep your eyes peeled.

7:00 pm Onwards

Drinks and food will be served with a DJ playing to celebrate a great end to the tournament.

How are the matches structured?

Stage 1 | Round robin phase

24 teams are divided into 4 groups (A, B, C, D) of 6 teams each.

Each team will include 2 players with the option to have a 3rd player to sub in and out.

Teams play against every other team in their group once.

Stage 2 | First knockout games

  • Winner of group A vs Runner-up of group B
  • Winner of group B vs Runner-up of group A
  • Winner of group C vs Runner-up of group D
  • Winner of group D vs Runner-up of group C

Final stages

Semi-finals

 What match format and scoring systems will be used?



  • Match Format: First to 4 games win

  • Scoring: No-advantage scoring (golden point).

    *Explanation: In no-advantage scoring, when the game score reaches deuce (40-40), the next point decides the game.

  • Match Format: First to 1 set win

  • Scoring: No-advantage scoring (golden point as outlined above).

    *Explanation: A set is won by the first team to reach 6 games with a two-game lead.

  • Tie-breaker: If the set reaches 6-6, a tie-breaker will be played to determine the winner.
